UserStories - JPA Growth Path

Why would I attend this course?

A prioritised product backlog sits at the heart of every Agile effort. This backlog generally consists of user stories, i.e. short, simple statements of intent by users of the system. The stories name the features or functionality of the product or initiative. Stories have multiple uses:-

  • They describe the scope of the product
  • They are used to define release
  • They define the acceptance criteria of a feature

In short, without user stories we don’t know what we are building, and we don’t know whether we are building it right either. Having good user stories and knowing which user stories make up a release is essential to an easy, smooth flow in an agile team. And here is the catch – although stories are simple, they are not easy to write.

This course is aimed at developing the skills to write good user stories, as well as organise and manage stories.
